Carl D. Aframe, Esq. is a 1968 Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a Vietnam veteran. Carl obtained his JD from the University of Pittsburg and was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and the Federal Courts in 1977. Mr. Aframe has practiced bankruptcy and insolvency law, and has litigated commercial matters for over 30 years.

Mr. Aframe was certified in Consumer and Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification in 1994. He is the only Board certified lawyer in both consumer and bankruptcy law in Worcester County. This class of certification has been acknowledged by the new Bankruptcy Code passed in 2005.

Mr. Aframe has been a member of the Worcester County Bar Association for 30 years. Mr. Aframe is the founder of and was the chairman of the Worcester County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section for 10 years. He has been a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute for 20 years and has been a member of the Commercial Law League. He has lectured on the subject of bankruptcy and insolvency law over the last 20 years.
